Participants
arrive to Sortavala on July 24, 2005. The conference will be held for two days
(July 25-26), the term of participation can be chosen arbitrarily (one or two
days). Forms of participation: plenary report, presentation of products and
services, participation in sections (the program is attached).
The conference will cover the following directions:
1. Coordination of activity of state, commercial and public organizations in
the field of nature protection policy and ecological tourism in Ladoga
region.
2. Development of programs "Basic directions of development of nature
protection policy of Ladoga region and ecological tourism for the period 2005-2010"
and "Healthy generation" aimed at forming healthy style of life of
youth until 2010.
Organizational
fee for one participant is 70 Euro includes payment for excursions, meal,
residence in a tent camp, conference materials and publication of conference
proceedings). Traveling expenses and hotel accommodation are at one's own
expense.

Conference aims:
1. Development of a mechanism for coordination of activity
of state, commercial, and public organizations in the field of nature protection
policy and ecological tourism in Ladoga region.
2. Development of a decision on creation of association of
juridical persons engaged in nature protection activity and ecological tourism
in Ladoga region.
3. Development of a program "Basic directions of
development of nature protection policy of Ladoga region and ecological tourism
for the period 2005-2010".
4. Development of a program of joint (Karelia - St.
Petersburg) activity in the framework of the program of Karelia on forming
healthy style of life of youth until 2010.
